GOOD DEBT - Such as a mortgage, or a student loan. Debt which you incurred, have under control, paying a low interest rate, have a payment plan. Sometimes, these debts offer tax advantages.
IN BETWEEN DEBT - Debt which you incurred, not because you wanted to, but because you needed to, such as car loans, medical debt and business loans. Most of these are probably effecting your credit score and there is no tax advantage.
BAD DEBT - Known as consumer debt, or credit card debt, or personal debt. Debt which is not under control, and/or has a high interest rate.
